Product rendering for catalogues:
every finish, with no photo shoot.
A product render is a product photo made in 3D. We model your piece once, with its dimensions and finishes, and from that model we produce every image in your catalogue: each reference, in each finish, with the same light and the same framing.
Who it pays off for
Manufacturers with many references, many finishes and few photos.
In a photo shoot, every finish is a sample you have to manufacture, ship and photograph. In 3D, a new finish is added to the model.
It pays off most if:
- your catalogue has the same piece in many finishes or colours;
- not all finishes are manufactured yet;
- you need every photo to have the same light;
- you want a video or a 3D product configurator from the same work.
If you have a single piece in a single finish, already made, a photo shoot may be cheaper. We will tell you.
What you get
- Studio photos on pure white: several views per finish.
- In-use photos: the piece fitted in place (a door, a cabinet, a kitchen).
- Finish chart: every finish of a reference in a single image.
- Formats: JPG, PNG with transparent background and TIFF, with your file names.
- The 3D model is yours, with no time or usage limit. The video and the 3D configurator come from it later.

Who makes your renders
Behind RUNA is Iker Suinaga Mongelos, based in Arrasate (Gipuzkoa, Spain). He is a 3D generalist specialised in product imagery: he models, lights and produces every variant of each reference in series, with automated processes built for large catalogues. Before RUNA he spent almost five years in the marketing department of a manufacturer, and he holds a master's degree in graphic design and has hands-on experience with photography.

Rendering or product photography?
| Studio photography | Rendering (photos made in 3D) | |
|---|---|---|
| Manufactured samples | One per finish | None |
| Shipping to the studio | Both ways | None |
| A new finish | Make, ship and reshoot | Added to the model |
| Same light across the catalogue | Depends on the shoot | Always |
| Video and configurator | Another shoot, another job | From the same model |
| Best choice if… | One piece, one finish, already made | Many finishes or references |

Frequently asked questions
What is a product render?
An image of your product made from a 3D model instead of a camera. Done well, it is used just like a photo: catalogue, website, online shop or Amazon.
How much does a product render cost?
The 3D model costs from €35 + VAT depending on the piece, and each studio image €2 + VAT. A handle (basic model) in 20 finishes with 5 images per finish: €35 + 100 × €2 = €235 + VAT.
Do I need CAD?
No. It helps, but we can start from photos and dimensions, or from the piece. The J. Ramón Grau knob was made without CAD.
Can you do many colour or finish variants?
Yes — that is where it pays off most. Each new finish is added to the model, with nothing to manufacture or photograph.
What if the finish does not match mine?
We adjust it with your samples or colour references, within the round of adjustments included.
What is the 3D model used for afterwards?
It is yours. The product video and the 3D configurator come from the same model, without starting again.
Tell us about your project.
What you make, how many products and in how many finishes. We’ll send you a fixed-price proposal, with no commitment.
