3D product configurator for manufacturers
If you make a piece in many finishes, your customer wants to see it in theirs before ordering. With the viewer they turn it, zoom in and change the finish on your website. If you also want them to see the price and buy it, the configurator with a sales funnel takes them step by step to the cart.
Web product configurator
It works in the browser, on desktop and on mobile, with nothing to install. It comes from the same 3D model as your photos and your video, so everything shows the same product, with the same finishes. Use it on the product page, in customer presentations or on a tablet at a trade fair.
What a 3D product configurator is
It is a part of your website where your customer sees the product in 3D and chooses how they want it. Depending on who searches, it is called a web configurator, a 3D configurator or a product configurator. There are two types: the viewer, to see and choose finishes, and the configurator with a sales funnel, which also calculates the price and ends in a purchase. It is made for manufacturers with many options, such as doors, hardware, taps, lighting or furniture.
How we work, in 3 steps
- You send us the CAD and your finish chart (and, for the funnel, your prices and your rules). No CAD? Photos and measurements; failing that, the piece.
- We make the 3D model and its finishes, with one round of changes included.
- We deliver the configurator, ready for your website.
3D configurator price: free with the model or from €900 with a sales funnel
The viewer with augmented reality is free with the 3D model: from €35 + VAT per product (basic), €90 (intermediate) or €160 (advanced); −10% from 20 products. Configurator only: web model at €15, €30 or €45 + VAT. Hosting: €0 if you host it, or €15/month + VAT if we do. The configurator with a sales funnel: from €900 + VAT and €49/month + VAT; 3D models not included.
Why a configurator
A photo shows one finish; a 3D product configurator shows them all in one place. Your customer compares without asking for samples and gets to the order with everything already chosen. And you don't have to photograph every combination.
FAQ
What is the difference between the viewer and the configurator with a sales funnel?
The viewer is for showing: your customer turns the product, changes the finish and sees it at home with augmented reality. It gives no price and takes no orders. The configurator with a sales funnel is for selling: your customer picks components in 3D, sees the price, downloads the PDF with the specifications and buys with the cart.
Does it calculate prices?
The viewer doesn't: it shows finishes. The configurator with a sales funnel does: with your prices and your rules, the price changes with every option.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes, in the browser, with nothing to install.
Is it the same model as the photos?
Yes: the photos, the video and the configurator show the same product.
Do I need the CAD file?
It helps, but it isn't needed: it can also be made from photos and measurements.
Can I show it at trade fairs and presentations?
Yes: it works in any browser, on a tablet too.
